The Columba Hotel Inverness was originally built in 1881and is positioned in Inverness City Centre with enviable views over the River Ness and up to Inverness Castle. The Victoria Restaurant at the Columba Hotel is ideal for any dining occasion. The position of the restaurant allows for superb views of Inverness Castle and each dish is lovingly prepared with fresh ingredients all from local suppliers.

The McNabs Bistro & Bar offers a range of local specialities such as the ales that are on offer are from the nearby Black Isle.

Directions to the Columba Hotel Inverness

From the A9/A96 follow the signs to the town centre. Continue past the Eastgate Shopping Centre and onto Academy Street. At the bottom of Academy Street take a left and continue to the top of Bank Street staying in the right hand lane. Turn right over the bridge and then first left to where the Columba Hotel is situated.

Guests staying on a rate inclusive of Dinner can Dine from the table d'hote Menu in our Victoria Restaurant or if you prefer you can dine in our MacNabs Bistro which has River & Castle Views with an allowance of £20.00 to be used on food only and drinks must be paid as extra. PLEASE NOTE - We do not have a hotel car park but there is a public pay and display car park approx 250 yards from the hotel and this is charged at £4.50 for 24 hours.

The location of the Columba Hotel in Inverness makes a great base for breaks touring the highland as Loch Ness is only a 30-minute drive away and there are many historic sites that are dotted around the local area.

There are many things to see and do in the city of Inverness. You can take a tour of the city on an open top bus, which then takes you to the historic and eerie Culloden Moor made famous by the battle of the Covenanters and Bonnie Prince Charlie.

Hotel has entertainment most Saturday nights throughout the year, usually Ceilidh style Scottish music. (Excludes Jan/Feb)
