The Grand Suites have luxurious furnishings, four-poster bed, large living room with fire-place, fire-place in the bedroom for that romantic touch, and spectacular views overlooking our gardens, golf course, Kilpatrick Hills and The River Clyde. Mar Hall Golf & Spa Resort welcomes guests who wish to bring their dogs to stay with them. However, there is a strict pet policy in operation at the Resort. If you wish to bring your dog with you, then please be aware that there will be a £30.00 supplement per room per night.

We would ask all guests to complete a Pet Disclaimer Form which you will be asked to complete at your arrival at the Resort.

Bar & Restaurant

Executive Chef, Sam Carswell, who lets his fresh, seasonal, modern food talk eloquently on his behalf, leads the Mar Hall Hotels Cristal Restaurants Kitchen Brigade. He relies on the finest Scottish produce, cut or catch, sourced by suppliers with a passion for their work.
The Front-of-House team is committed to serious levels of service. Although dedicated to every detail, they create an ambience of intimacy with informality in which diners can fully relax.
The final ingredient in this experience is an environment reminiscent of a grand private residence with 20 foot windows, decorative ceilings, refined modern fabrics and art by Archie Forrest. This is excellence without compromise.
Cristal Restaurant is open from 7pm unti 10pm. (Children are not permitted beyond 8pm at Cristal Restaurant)

Located on the grounds of the Earl of Mar Estate, is the new Il Posto Ristorante. Within the restaurant and on the decking area, are spectacular views over the award winning golf course, the Kilpatrick Hills and beyond. Associate Master Chef of Great Britain, Colin Guthrie, runs the Kitchen.

The Grand Hall is at the heart of Mar Hall. Formerly known as the Picture Gallery, it is 118 feet in length. This classic environment is furnished with French style Louis XIV chairs and low coffee tables. Its ornate high ceilings, paintings, tapestries and carpeting capture the breath.
The 20ft windows allow ample natural light and views of the formal gardens, where a vast Lebanese Cedar resides. A resident pianist performs on the Baby Grand to create an appropriate mood for those enjoying a light snack, lunch or Afternoon Tea.
Informal Dining: Light lunches and snacks are served Monday to Saturday in the historic Grand Hall from 12 noon until 4pm in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Sunday Lunch is served between 12 noon and 2pm.
Afternoon Tea: Afternoon Tea can be enjoyed in the Grand Hall every day between 2:30pm and 5pm (reservations required 24 hours in advance).

The Spike Bar at the 5* Mar Hall Hotel is stocked with a selection of cooling beers, refreshing champagnes and premium brand spirits (including several high-end single malts), the Spike Bar is a civilised place to enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif. It is decorated with mahogany and neutral tones and features chandeliers hanging from detailed ceilings.
