By train: 2 every hour (1 every hour at weekends) from Glasgow Central or Motherwell to Lanark railway station (1.5 miles/2.5 km from New Lanark). Local buses and taxis at the bus stance, adjacent to the station and Tourist Information Centre.
On foot: New Lanark lies on a particularly attractive section of the Clyde Walkway, near to the Falls of Clyde.

Guests staying on a DBB basis at New Lanark Mill Hotel are entitled to a 3 course dinner from the restaurant a la carte menu (unless otherwise stated). Should a guest choose a dish with a supplement price, this will be added to their account for payment on departure. Please note that the lowest floor for bedrooms is the 5th floor. There is a lift on the premises to take you to all floors (or stairs if preferred). Childrens meals must be taken from the Childrens Menu when booked on childrens rates SPA BREAKS - Please note that Spa Breaks Treatments are only available between a Tuesday and Saturday and can be for no more than 4 people per day. New Lanark village faced demolition after the closure of the cotton mills in the 1960s but has now been beautifully restored as a living community and is one of Scotland's top visitor attractions, as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The New Lanark Mill Hotel is surrounded by beautiful native woodland, and is close to the spectacular Falls of Clyde where various walks are available. It's a great base for exploring Clydesdale, and Central/Southern Scotland. The city centres of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling are all about an hour away.
