The Speyside Highlander Hotel is a particularly warm and welcoming hotel. Well priced too.

From Edinburgh take the M90 to Perth, from Glasgow take the M80, A80 then the A9 to Perth. From Perth take the A9 north approximately 64 miles. Come off at the slip road for Newtonmore (A86), the Highlander hotel is on the main road at the north end of Newtonmore.

Mountain bikers will be in their element at Laggan Wolftrax, a 35km single track that’s well maintained and available all year round.
